EPO Vice President, Olivier Dominikowski (PRODAF, France) attended on behalf of EPO the 32nd CITES Animal Committee that took place in Geneva from June 19th to 23rd, 2023, along with EPO President Svein A. Fosså (NZB, Norway) - who attended it on behalf of OFI (Ornamental Fish International).
EPO contributed to the agenda on various working documents of interest, and registered as participant to the following intersessional working groups:(1) zoonotic diseases, (2) captive-bred and ranched specimens, (3) stony corals, (4) trade in specimens not of wild source, (5) materials for the identification of specimens of CITES-listed species, (6) species at risk of extinction.
